MONALISA ART INSTITUTE
LEARN MORE THAN 40 ART MEDIA
Monalisa Art Institute
A hung collection of studio moments — brushwork, light, and practice — captured in motion and framed as the studio frames its canvases.
Founded on a belief that art belongs to everyone.
Since 1999, Monalisa Art Institute has grown from a single Siliguri classroom into one of North Bengal's most trusted creative homes — training over 5,000 students across drawing, painting, sculpture, textile art, digital design and more.
We teach technique without ever losing sight of instinct — because the best work happens when discipline and play share the same canvas.
Forty-plus disciplines, one studio.
Painting & Watercolor
Foundational to advanced technique across oil, acrylic and watercolor mediums.
Drawing & Sketching
Line, form and perspective — the vocabulary every artist builds on.

Textile & Craft Art
Traditional and contemporary textile techniques rooted in Bengal's craft heritage.
Portrait Studies
Anatomy, likeness and expression across pencil, charcoal and paint.
Digital & Design Art
Illustration and design fundamentals for a digital-first creative career.
Kids' Art Studio
Playful, age-appropriate classes that build confidence before technique.
Portfolio & Exam Prep
Focused mentorship for art school entrance and portfolio building.
Watch the brushes at work.
A closer look at the work.
Twenty-five years of first brushstrokes.
"I walked in not knowing how to hold a brush properly. Three years later I had my first solo exhibition."
"The teachers push technique, but they never once made it feel like a rulebook. It always stayed playful."
"My daughter joined the kids' studio at six. She's twelve now and still doesn't want to miss a single class."
